A mixture of modern oratorio and pop musical.
The music connects classic to pop and combins combines musical elements from a classical oratorio with swing and jazz.
This X-mas story is a very personal interpretation: I want to show to you the real human persons behind the names in the biblical story – what did they think, why did they act the way they did, which were their emotions?
I believe they acted not only bravely and determined, they felt at the same time insecure - they had doubts, they quarreled, they loved.
My music reflects all these elements of bright and dramatic moments revealing the human feelings of the acting persons.
You will find swinging and grooving parts besides the lyrics of a great love story as well as some hints to the dramatic journey to Nazareth.
And a sense of humour should never be missing.
